Every Monday is New Years Day in fitness.
The next few weeks a leading up to the New Year are the BEST time to get in and make some solid positive changes.
You can start laying the foundation with some workouts and better eating without all the pressure of “Now or never’ of the New Year.
And as always the number one rule for serious results is, was, and always will be consistency.
Consistency with both your exercise and your diet.
But exercise is easier, than diet.
And I’ve noticed when clients start working out their diets tend to naturally clean up (some not all).

Simple. But it works every time.
Simple doesn’t mean easy either.
Show up and keep showing up and don’t worry so much about what you’re doing once you get there.
In the beginning you’re really not trying to build or reenforce the exercise habit, you’re building your “showing up” habit.
And like they say 80% is showing up and
it really is when it comes to getting
and staying in shape.

I say to myself “I’m going to go for 10min and I’m going to get this started.
If in 10min I’m still not feeling it. I’m leaving.
Some of my VERY BEST workouts ever were on days that I had to use the 10min Rule to get myself there.
And I would have totally missed it, if I’d have skipped.
Remember also you’re either reenforcing good habits-showing up
Or you’re reenforcing bad habits-Not showing up
That’s why the 10min Rule is so powerful, you may bail after 10min, but you’ve STILL reenforced the showing up habit.
And that’s the first rule for real results.
