“Do not compromise if you are right. Hold your ground, show no fear, ask for what you want, and the opposition will usually agree”
Kekich Credo #32
Moving towards the Holidays you’re going to run into more opposition than usual when it comes to staying on your fitness track.
You’re going to run into food-pushers.
And well meaning but mis-guided friends and family that believe your workouts are “optional”.
So you’ve got to be prepared.
Without a doubt one of the most difficult things to losing fat is eating in social situations.
The peer-pressure can be the toughest test of your commitment.
If you want to succeed you have to lay out ground rules.
There’s no room for debate. You’re either in or you’re out.
And having pre-prepared “scripts” to diplomatically deal with food-pushers is a HUGE help.

And you might surprise people when they realize life goes on when you don’t eat chicken wings with them.
When it comes to your workouts.
A ‘little something everyday’ is a helpful motto.
When you have jet lag, 10 relatives in one house, and your diet is off.
You’re not in the best mental or physical condition for a high intensity all or nothing max weight workout.
A quick 20-30 min walk, jog, or a 30min total-body workout will keep you on track.

That keeps you active and gives you time to eat, rest, and get a game plan.
When you meet resistance these next couple of months..
Be loud and proud of what you are doing.
There are more people than you realize secretly wishing someone will take charge and be a healthy role model for them.
And this year that person is you.
Don’t let them down.
Talk soon.
