A common question I get is how long will it take to lose the 20-30 or even 50 pounds or more that a new client has put on.
Sometimes they’ve put it on over years and years.
And the answer I will give is…
“It depends”
And it really does….
It depends on your ability to motivate yourself to take consistent action and change your habitual behaviors.
How willing are you to get up daily for the next 6 months to a year and for example…
–Use a meal replacement shake for breakfast, even though it doesn’t taste as good as a donut or an Egg McMuffin, and you KNOW you’re never going to get up earlier to cook a healthy breakfast.
–Get up 30 min earlier to get in 2 miles before you go to work. Knowing it MUST be done because you have NO time at the end of the day.
And you KNOW you’re not going to go to bed earlier, because Facebook, Game of Thrones, and the Bachelor.
-“SHOW UP” consistently 2-3 times per week to work for 30 focused minutes toward this goal you know may very well save your life.
Even though you KNOW half the time you show up, you’ll literally have to talk yourself into it and overcome your inner resistance, friends, coworkers, family, and signifiant other wanting you to…
