What a weird weekend. It was like opposite day.
I’m used to doing Success Stories about clients.
Saturday the camera got turned when The Body Firm Personal Training and Fitness Boot Camps was filmed as a Success Story.
I find having to talk about myself nerve wracking. Sweaty palms, red faced, blood pressure goes up. Way different than talking about nutrition and fat-loss exercise.
Back in October I flew to Orlando to speak to 300 trainers at a conference for Fitness Professionals and Gym owners . The same group asked to feature Tracy, me and The Body Firm as a Success Story.
I told the story about me working as a health club janitor, mopping floors cleaning toilets and working the front desk for 15 years. How I met Tracy when I worked at Metroflex Gym The Most HardCore Facility on Earth( and very dirty so not a lot of women came in, but there she was!). And how 2 very Hard-Nosed Health Club Owners suggested I get into Personal Training. The way we got out first Studio at 7th Street. To today where we consistently deliver lightning fast results to hundreds of clients every month at multiple locations.(and juggle 3 kids)
I set a goal to stay out of my comfort zone this year and I’m doing a good job of it. It’s difficult to tell people to do something if you don’t do it yourself.
I hope you’re striving to stay out of your comfort zone too . All kinds of good thing will be found outside of it. I guarantee it
