This video came to me in a moment of clarity while sweating profusely and shaking like a leaf.
On Tuesday I had squated 315 for 10 reps and put 200lbs over my head. Wednesday morning I was feeling pretty cocky about my conditioning going to workout with the Fort Worth Bootcamp. While I knew holding the plank position is easy-in theory. The reality is like they say an entirely different story. I thought “How have I not done this in so long?” Oh yeah, I’m not good at it. And it’s hard. And effective.
That’s one of the problems with “on your own.” On your own you tend to do only 1.what you know and, 2. What what you’re comfortable with or good at. That’s one of the reasons so many people are wasting time doing boring cardio. It’s easy and they’re comfortable.
I knew about planks. I knew they would make me better. I just didn’t do them until I had to. When someone made me-I got better. And you’ll get better too.
So here are the 3 Best Ab Exercises that will give you the most return on your effort. They may look easy but they’re not. But they are- extremely beneficial to flattening your stomach, supporting your lower back, and making you stronger and more injury resistant overall.
