Natalie, 26, is a local teacher and coach. She and Rocco(see the first 21 Day Success Stories) came in together to kick-start their program.
Natalie had been doing the classes at a local health club and running for fun, but just wasn’t seeing anything changing. She wanted to lose some bodyfat and bust out of her routine.
Unfortunately she was involved in a car accident at the end of the second week. She was barely able to walk after the accident. So no training thee 3rd week(you can’t see her ankles were wrapped up in the after photo). Still she kept her diet tight( Results come from 85% diet- 15% exercise).
She dropped her bodyfat from 35% to 31% ! Loosing 1.5ins. in her waist and 1 inch in her hips. You can see how much better her waist/ mid-section looks in just 3 weeks on the program.
She told me she used portion control with her favorite foods. She and Rocco also split portions when they went out to eat and that helped. And eliminated high fructose corn syrup which caused here to end up with a different shopping list.
Great job Natalie!
Maria Orand, 41, is a mom of both a 28 year old and a very energetic 2 year old, she’s also a local police officer.
Irregular hours, never a day off, no breaks, in and out of the car, paperwork that never stops, cleaning up other peoples messes, meeting the crazy demands of unreasonable people. -And that’ just having a toddler. Now imagine being a police officer and dealing with the public too! Doing both is really hard on your body.
She told me “The training with a group is so motivating. It’s nice to be with people that want what you want. You see them working hard and striving to do their best and it makes me want to do my best too.”
One change Maria made with here diet was to eat breakfast. She said she started to not feel hungry later in the day and she had more energy. She also replaced vending machine snacks and chips with fruit. She started to feel better with that change alone.
Maria’s numbers show why you need to use common sense when using a scale.
She lost just 1 pound on the scale. Doesn’t sound like much until you hear the rest of thee story….Her bodyfat dropped from 33% to 29%(6 pounds of bodyfat lost!)! she lost 7ins overall! 2 ins. from her chest, 2.5 ins. off the waist, and 1ins. from her hips. The scale say’s lb. But she’s now smaller toned and tighter.
I know you’re going to see more successes from her in the near future.
Celia is a 44 yr old Mom and Paralegal. She had attended my Nutrition Course in September, and had even come out to my first Pay It Forward Free Boot Camp in the park. When she finally jumped into the 21 Day program I asked her what took her so long? She told me the fear of being the oldest the heaviest and not being able to keep up kept her from fully committing.
When I called her the night before we started I apologized for the late Sunday night call. She told me “No problem. I’m at the store getting groceries for my weekly eating plan.” I knew she was going to do just fine.
Even though a very high stress week at here job kept here from getting to camp in the last week before we measured(she stayed on here eating program). She lost 5 lbs, 7ins. total and 2.5ins from here waist alone!
Celia really overcame a lot of fears to just get started, she’s rockin through the workouts now. She also took the nutrition and ran with it. This is huge.
I asked here to give me the top 3 nutrition tips she used and would recommend.
1. Using the Myoplex( Meal Replacement) after training. “I feel better after training. I have more energy through the morning, and I know I’ve gotten in some good nutrition”
2. Watch your Sodium-“I cut out all diet drinks, minimized bread it just doesn’t work for me, and stopped going out to eat every day, more cooking at home. When I do go out I minimize seasoning’s but you know they’ll add things to their own recipes that contain sodium”
3. Meal Planning- “I decide on my weekly meal plans. Shop off a list. Cook and prepare my meals for the week. I also plan in a cheat meal once a week to be able to not obsess overe those things that are hard to give up”
That sounds like a winner of a plan to me.
Each one of these ladies are different. They have different schedules, backgrounds, jobs, demands, even different body type’s but they all got results.
Because they have one thing in common.
The one thing all these Challengers have in common is they are all Action Takers.
They all came in and took action. Action on their diet and exercise.
Making changes in their eating habits right away. They didn’t all take the same diet moves but they all took some kind of action on their diet. They didn’t “hope” the workouts would do the job alone(they won’t).
Consistently they showed up to training. Even when they couldn’t get to the workouts they didn’t just give it all up. They have the tenacity to finish what they start. They all stayed on their eating plan even when injury and jobs kept them out.
Write your own personal success story by – Setting goals, taking action, and sticking with it long enough to see results.
Congratulations to all the 21 Day Challengers!
