Lately I’ve been working my way through the 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene
And I came across something interesting
Law #10
Infection: Avoid the Unhappy and Unlucky

Associate with the happy and fortunate instead.”

What does this have to do with weight loss and fitness?
Everything.
The WHO you’re around can make or break your success
The WHO you are around will shape who you are,
Choose wisely.
You want to stack the deck as much in your favor to be successful as possible.
If the vast majority of your co-workers, friends, and family eat badly, don’t exercise and consider taking care of themselves a too hard or a waste of time.
You’re going to be fighting an uphill battle daily to stay on track yourself.
That’s why you HAVE to get around some like minded people.
That’s the reason we train in groups of at least 2 at the Body Firm.
It just makes it easier when you know there’s others with similar goals and struggles.
Sometimes I’ll meet with a potential client that wants to “wait until my friend joins to get started”…
The answer to that is always “Nooooo your friend may NEVER get started YOU need to start now.”
I know it seems selfish but you have to be sometimes to move forward.
Avoid the unhappy and unlucky.
Seek out other positive, uplifting, fun and hopefully getting fit people.
