If you have kids out of school or you’ve decided it’d just too dangerous to get out on these icy roads. I’ve posted 3 Anytime-Anywhere Workouts for you to choose from.
Workout #1 – “100’s Of” This is the workout I give new clients for their off days.
The goal is to do 100 reps of each exercise. You can do 10 sets of 10, 4 sets of 25, 100 reps straight through. Doesn’t matter just get 100 reps. You can also make this workout pretty basic or a gut wrenching challenging according to the exercises you choose and how many different exercises you do.
What I recommend to my new clients-
100 reps
1. Push-ups (modified is O.K.)
2. Bodyweight Squats
3. Crunches ( I know we don’t recommend crunches often but this is for beginners)
Want to spice this workout up do the above exercises and then add 100reps of any of these exercises in
1. Lunges
2. Squat variations(jump squats, wide stance, Y-squats)
3. Close grip or wide grip push-ups
4. Burpees! (actually 100 burpees is a workout itself)
It’s impossible to screw this workout up. Be creative and most of all- have a good time!
Workout #2 Afterburn Bodyweight Cardio- Beats Boring old steady state cardio with a stick!
Workout #3- 4 Minutes of Fast-Action Fat Loss and Muscle Toning-Enjoy!
