“Make no small plans”
-Dan Kennedy
Over the last decade I’ve been blessed with the unique opportunity to work with literally thousands of clients and boot campers.
One of the most common questions I get from people who discover this is “How can you tell if someone is going to be successful at reaching their goal”
In the beginning I couldn’t really answer this question.
But ove the years of observing what works and what doesn’t.
I’ve found THE answer.
This one defining trait that is present in ALL of the most successful clients ands completely absent in the failures.
I’ve noticed that 100% of my most successful clients have this ONE DEFINING behavior going for them…
They SHOW UP
And when they show up they get to work.
They might be the slowest, weakest, heaviest person in the bunch, but they give their best they can give on that particular day.
Then they come back for more, again and again and again.
Until pretty soon they’re NOT the slowest, heaviest, weakest of the bunch.
Do you know what the losers have in common?
They don’t show up, but man, they do have tons of excuses.
It’s too early. It’s too late. It’s too hot. It’s too cold…and on and on and on..
It doesn’t matter what the reason is but the excuses will flow like water from the failures and non-hackers.
So in the the end you have what one of my own personal coaches and mentors drilled into my head years ago.
You’ve either got results or excuses.
And by simply showing up and doing the work you’ll beat 99% of the population.
Sure it would be great if everyone could win, and get results whether they showed up or not, but that”s not reality.
So at the end of this week you can look in the mirror and see where you are.
What do YOU have results or excuses?
Action or inaction.
Yes or no.
The choice is yours.
